Josiah Walker
Josiah grew up in the foothills of Tahoe in Northern California. In high school he was gifted a Sony DV camera and started making extra-credit videos just to pass classes. Though filmmaking intrigued him, circumstances led him to graduate early and tour in bands, leaving all filmmaking behind.
Throughout his twenties he juggled music projects and worked in grocery stores At age 30, in a single moment, he decided he wanted to make movies. He sold all his music equipment and started filming weekend projects, using the internet as his school. He landed a job editing videos for a digital agency in Sacramento, then found a pathway to LA where he served as an associate producer on a doc. From there he made his award winning short film Very Prosperous Men. He is currently in development on his debut feature film.
